About this speaker
Summer Rankin is a computational neuroscientist who investigates the boundaries of AI and drives data science solutions for federal government clients. She has a PhD in Complex Systems and Brain Sciences and di her postdoctoral fellowship on music and auditory perception at John Hopkins School of Medicine. She has experience teaching technology and computer science to university and early college students and is currently an instructor and course designer for GTKcyber. She is a Senior Lead Data Scientist at Booz Allen Hamilton in the Honolulu Chief Technology Office. She has multiple publications on the topics of neuroscience, machine learning and epidemiology in peer-reviewed journals.
